Several games won't work correctly in my first slot.(start up sound) There are also certain game(in slot)combinations that I can't/won't use. ((We should create a posted list of games that we have that skip the first slot during start up.)) Some games I want to have in the first slot but I'm forced to move them to another slot because during the start up it skips the first game and jumps to the second games demo screen.īut I can get the first slotted games demo to work if I manually switch to it with the 'select game' switch. Normally I would put this down to the MVS board not reading the KOF cart properly, but it is there when I press the game select button to get back round to the cart in slot 1, and it recognises it in the software settings.Īlright, this isn't exactly a life or death problem, ((but I like to know why these things happen ))
After booting up and going through the usual Neo-Geo jingle, I get the Videosystem intro of Aero Fighters 2, not theKOF 98 logo I should be getting.
In slot 1 is KOF 98, and slot 2 is Aero Fighters 2. Problem - 6 slot MVS cab with all slots occupied.
